Currently Banasiak manages and owns Liquid Capital Express, a non-bank commercial financing company that helps small businesses obtain funding domestically and internationally when bank financing is not available. Prior, he founded PredictiveMetrics, Inc., a predictive scoring and decision analytics company that he profitably sold to SunGard, a $5 billion software company. Banasiak is the forefather of commercial credit scoring; successfully built Dun & Bradstreet’s (D&B) first commercial credit scoring and financial stress models currently used by over 10,000 companies.

Peter is a Manager in KPMG’s New York State and Local Tax Practice.  He has over 15 years of experience working in all areas of unclaimed property, including annual compliance reporting, asset recovery, voluntary disclosure agreements, quantifying unclaimed property exposures, multi-state audit defense, and developing policies and procedures.

Peter begin his career at Unclaimed Property, Recovery, and Reporting (UPRR) where he managed the day to day operations of the firms unclaimed property compliance program.

Since joining KPMG, Peter is responsible for seeing clients through voluntary compliance programs for various states as well as assist clients with multi-state audit defense against various states and third party agencies.  He assists clients with developing policies and procedures regarding unclaimed property.  He also has experience navigating states’ complex unclaimed property laws and regulations and follows changes in unclaimed property laws through various research methods.  Peter also performs all aspects of unclaimed property reporting, including receiving client date, data analysis, due diligence, data processing, and state reporting. 

Throughout his career, Peter has worked with many Fortune 500 companies representing industries, including corporations, banks, financial institutions, transfer agent banks, oil and gas, and insurance companies.  Peter has experience in the development and implementation of several unclaimed property reporting systems as well as continually customizing those systems to meet the company’s unique reporting and compliance needs.

Peter has spoken at several UPPO conferences.

Jenna has extensive experience in analyzing clients’ financial accounting records to identify, quantify, and mitigate unclaimed property exposure areas. She is experienced in analyzing large datasets effectively through deployment of technology tools by the staff whose work she oversees, as well as identifying efficiencies within her engagements and troubleshooting unique, complex, and novel issues with her clients.​ ​ Jenna has assisted clients with navigating Delaware’s Secretary of State VDA Program since its adoption in 2012 and has worked with numerous companies to help them get into compliance with the filing requirements of all jurisdictions. She has performed audit defense services for state-specific and multi-state unclaimed property audits, working collaboratively alongside clients and their internal and external counsel. Jenna acts as a specialist on audit engagements to review legal memorandums and exposure calculations related to ASC 450 contingencies and on merger and acquisition deals to identify and quantify potential risk/exposure areas on both the buy and sell sides. ​ ​ Jenna is a member of the AICPA, as well as a member of the Unclaimed Property Professionals Organization where she speaks at the organization’s annual conference and periodic webinars on unclaimed property “hot topics.” Jenna contributes extensively to Deloitte Tax’s thought leadership and is a frequent presenter at Deloitte-sponsored client roundtables and webinars.​
