Robert Bernstein is the owner of Bernstein Estate Law in Morristown, New Jersey. Mr. Bernstein has been practicing law for over 35 years and is admitted to the Bar in both New Jersey and New York. Mr. Bernstein focuses his practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Elder Law, Special Needs Planning, Same-Sex Estate Planning, Business and Corporate Law and Commercial and Residential Real Estate Law. Prior to starting his practice, Mr. Bernstein served as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of New Jersey where he represented the Division of Taxation. He is a frequent lecturer and has acted as host and producer of a cable television program entitled “30 Legal Minutes” which was also broadcast on Comcast Network and Communities Cable. He is also a former legal columnist of a national magazine “Small Business Opportunities”.

Mr. Bernstein received his Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in 1966 and was awarded his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Rutgers University School of Law in 1969. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United Court for the District of New Jersey, and the New Jersey Supreme Court. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association.

Shaune Scutellaro, CPA, is a manager at CohnReznick with nine years of diversified public accounting experience and a member of the Firm’s National Tax Practice. He has a background in corporate, partnership, and individual tax planning and compliance, including multi-state and international companies. A licensed CPA in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, he specializes in both inbound and outbound international tax issues. In addition to providing US tax consulting and compliance services for multi-national corporations and partnerships, he has worked on nearly 20 submissions to the IRS Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Program, which have included procedures for nonresident US citizens. His experience includes navigating and interpreting a number of US tax treaties; reporting on foreign investment for US residents; and completing any necessary compliance for US citizens living abroad, US resident aliens, and nonresident aliens with US taxable income and FACTA reporting requirements. Prior to joining CohnReznick, Mr. Scutellaro worked a local Toms River based full-service accounting firm.
