OVERVIEW

The Bergen Chapter's annual bankers event is moving to the morning. Co-sponsored by Kearny Bank, Member FDIC, join Former NY Giant Running Back and Special Teams Player of the Year in 1986 and two-time Super Bowl winner, Lee Rouson, for breakfast and a motivational discussion on Advancing and Moving Your Chain. Followed by a dynamic panel discussion on tax reform and how staying current is key in today's fast paced business environment.

Susan McGrath

Susan M. McGrath, CPA

Ms. McGrath is a Managing Director in the New York City office of Crowe. She has over 20 years experience providing tax consulting and compliance services to clients in the financial services industry.

Ms. McGrath has variety of experience ranging from start-up de-novo companies to multi-state public companies with multi-billion-dollar balance sheets. In addition to running the tax compliance aspect of engagements she spends a significant amount of her time in the area of ASC 740. She also provides strategic tax planning and handles IRS and state tax examinations.

She is a member of both the AICPA and the PICPA, and earned her B.S. in Accounting from Drexel University.

Coaches and helps drive Branch Management team to achieve business results and deliver quality service to all clients. Collaborates with partners in order to exceed established goals and grow market share. Skilled at creating and flawlessly rolling out small business strategies that motivates and drives results in order to create a winning team atmosphere.

Her specialties include: strategic planning, sales management, team training & development, oaching, quality service delivery, organizational effectiveness, problem resolution and change management.

Lee Rouson

Lee Rouson

Former NY Giant

Lee Rouson was born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina and currently lives in Flanders, New Jersey. Lee is a former running back in the NFL for the New York Giants. He was the NFL Special Teams Player of the Year in 1986. He played a significant role in the Giants 39-20 win in Super Bowl XXI. Lee attended the University of Colorado and was awarded Freshman All Big Eight, All Big Eight Honorable Mention, and Blue/Grey All Star Classic. Lee was traded to the Cleveland Browns, where he earned the starting running back position. After suffering a severe ankle injury, Rouson decided to retire, having played seven years in the NFL.

Lee is the Commissioner of the Institute for Leadership, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering our next generation of leaders. Lee is also working as a motivational speaker travelling to schools and churches around the country empowering others to become leaders, and motivating youth to overcome adversity.
