This course will provide attendees with the most recent industry specific facts, the latest cyber-security threats, and ways to help mitigate the risks associated with them. Attendees will learn about the biggest cyber threat that the financial industry faces today, social engineering. Terms such as phishing campaigns, credential harvesting, and ransomware will be explained then demonstrated using the same tools that hackers use to exploit firms. Designed to show attendees how these tools extract information about their business educates them on the necessary security measures in today’s environment. This course will finish with discussions about FFIEC Appendix J and third party management as well as mitigation strategies for all issues presented.
