2023/24 NJCPA Officers and Trustees Have Been Nominated

The NJCPA Nominating Committee has selected the following slate of officers for the 2023/24 year, which begins June 1, 2023:

Officers to serve for the fiscal year ending May 31, 2024:

• President-elect: June M. Toth
• Secretary: John M. Szczomak
• Treasurer: Ralph J. Evangelista

Trustees serving a three-year term expiring May 31, 2026:

• Chris Schiffer
• Catherine Syslo
• Michele Theuerkauf
• Paula M. Young

Trustees serving a three-year term expiring May 31, 2025:

• Brent M. Ashton
• Kathleen Bernard
• Nicole M. DeRosa
• Sean D. Stein Smith

Trustees serving a three-year term expiring May 31, 2024:

• Altheia Leduc
• Christopher M. Lovasz
• Brian G. Nafash
• Katherine E. Zech

Edward G. O’Connell shall become President of the NJCPA on June 1, 2023 for a one-year term expiring May 31, 2024. Kathleen F. Powers, Immediate Past President, and Ralph Albert Thomas, CEO & Executive Director or his successor when named, will serve as members of the Executive Committee and Board of Trustees.

The nominating committee also hereby nominates the following individual to serve as follows:

• Two-year term expiring May 31, 2025 on nominating committee: Sarah Krom
