Congratulations to the 2023 NJCPA Scholarship Recipients

We are pleased to announce that the NJCPA Scholarship Fund awarded $221,500 in scholarships to 53 New Jersey-based high school and college students in April. Out of 146 applicants, the Fund distributed scholarships to 35 college students and 18 high school students. The college students each received between $2,000 and $6,500. Eighteen high school students received $1,500 each. Eight of the high school winners and two of the college winners received the Deloitte Foundation NJCPA Scholars Awards. The Fund also distributed NJCPA/American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) Minority Scholarships as well as NJCPA/National Association of Black Accountants – Northern New Jersey Chapter Awards and several in-name of awards. The scholarships were based on academic performance, standardized test scores, essays and personal interviews.
