Lara has been a Licensed Acupuncturist in general practice since 2001. She first began meditating when she was a teenager as a tool to help manage migraine. She has found meditation and mindfulness practices to be very useful in daily life, and has continued to practice ever since. As part of her exploration of different meditation techniques, she has studied both Tai Chi and Qi Gong for over 20 years, and is a certified instructor.

Kathleen McLeod Caminiti is a partner in the New Jersey office of Fisher Phillips, a national labor and employment firm. Kathie is co-chair of both the Wage and Hour and Pay Equity practice groups She has extensive experience handling all aspects of employment litigation, including defending individual plaintiff discrimination and benefits claims, as well as and class and collective action litigation. Kathie has a sophisticated wage and hour practice and represents clients in New Jersey and throughout the country; she also dedicates her time to analyzing the legal issues surrounding pay equality, conducting pay equity audits and defending equal pay litigation.

Alvaro Hasani

Alvaro Hasani, J.D. is an associate with Fisher & Phillips LLP and represents employers in various industries and in all aspects of labor and employment law before federal and state courts, as well as regulatory and administrative agencies. He has a successful track record defending clients in individual, class, and collective actions on a wide range of issues, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, wage and hour claims, whistleblower claims, non-compete, and other business-related disputes. He has also obtained favorable decisions on behalf of clients before governmental agencies including the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, NJ Division on Civil Rights, NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development, NJ Department of Community Affairs, NY State Department of Labor, and NYC Commission on Human Rights.

In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Hasani routinely counsels and provides legal training to management clients regarding compliance with US federal, state, and local laws. He also drafts and revises employee handbooks, employment agreements, and other internal corporate policies. He has published numerous legal articles that have been cited by the U.S. Courts of Appeals and his expertise on labor and employment law is frequently featured in the media, including NJ 101.5 FM, New NJBIZ, Jersey Law Journal, Law360, Patch, and Practical Law. Given his experience and expertise, Alvaro is frequently invited to present on emerging employment law topics at legal symposiums, corporate training events, and for professional organizations such as the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Tri-State Human Resource Association (Tri-State HRA).

Mr. Hasani earned his B.A. from Rutgers University and his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law.
