Chris Martin, Member of the Firm in the Accounting and Auditing Practice at SobelCo, has worked closely with mid-sized, privately-held businesses throughout his entire career. He adds value by assisting clients with their financial statement needs, providing strategic planning for their corporate and individual income taxes, and taking an active role in consulting on major financial decisions. Chris devotes a significant amount of his time specifically in SobelCo’s food and beverage practice where he manages financial statement audits, reviews, compilations, and income taxes for manufacturers, distributors, and supermarket owners in the tri-state area.

Since joining SobelCo in 2015, Chris has consulted with clients to help them gain an accurate understanding of their financial situation. Mary Ellen C. Mundy, CPA is a senior manager in Sobel & Co.'s Audit and Accounting practice. She brings the combined strength of her experience of over twenty years in public accounting and her skilled expertise in private industry. She is responsible for Sobel & Co.'s audit work with Broker-Dealers, Hedge Funds and Investment Advisors. Her experience and depth of knowledge of FINRA, The PCAOB and the SEC are essential to our clients' regulatory reporting needs and requirements. Ms. Mundy is a graduate Misericordia University. She is licensed in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of CPAs.

Robert Slootmaker

Robert N. Slootmaker, CPA

Robert N. Slootmaker is a Manager in Untracht Early's Assurance practice and has been with the firm since 2009.  He specializes in assurance services (including audits and compilations), annual audit assistance, write-ups, bookkeeping, and partnership taxation for management companies.  Working primarily with commercial clients and management companies, 401k plans, and broker-dealers, Robert is able to offer a unique perspective by discussing the ways in which various assurance and tax issues will impact his clients and providing solutions to minimize those impacts.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey State Society of Certified Public Accountants.  Additionally, he takes an active role in training and mentoring staff members through his participation and leadership in the firm’s professional development programs.

Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Albright College. He is a licensed CPA in New Jersey.
