Governor Phil Murphy signed into law the Diane B. Allen Equal Pay Act, which revised New Jersey’s already broad Law Against Discrimination. The new law, which went into effect on July 1, 2018, places significant burdens on New Jersey employers who are required to take swift action in order to keep in compliance with the law. In addition to the Equal Pay Act is the Paid Sick Leave Act which requires employers to provide every employee with paid sick leave.
Attend this webinar to learn what employers must be doing to stay compliant and gain answers to some frequently asked questions about these two new laws.
