CPA Evolution

August 12, 2020

The CPA Evolution initiative aims to transform the CPA licensure model to recognize the rapidly changing skills and competencies the practice of accounting requires today and will require in the future. It is a joint effort of the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).

Julia Woislaw from the AICPA and Colleen Conrad from the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) discuss these topics and more:

  • What is the proposed model?
  • What are the benefits of the proposed model?
  • What are the next steps?

You can learn more at evolutionofcpa.org.
