Arthur R. Armstrong is a shareholder in Flaster Greenberg’s Litigation Department as well as the Insurance Recovery and Cybersecurity Practice Groups. Mr. Armstrong's practice concentrates in insurance recovery exclusively on behalf of policyholders and commercial litigation.

Mr. Armstrong regularly represents privately held and publicly traded companies against primary and excess insurers to secure coverage under property, commercial general liability, D&O, E&O and other insurance policies. Mr. Armstrong's practice also focuses on insurance recovery for cyber attacks, including ransomware, DDoS attacks, social engineering, malware attacks and other cyber threats. He holds a certificate from HarvardX for "Cybersecurity: Managing Risk in the Information Age."

Mr. Armstrong has also represented financial institutions, real estate developers, technology companies, and other business entities in litigation matters involving corporate governance, employment discrimination, commercial and residential property development and various contract disputes. He has also handled appeals before state and federal courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Each year since 2014, Pennsylvania Super Lawyers has recognized Mr. Armstrong as a "Rising Star."

Mr. Armstrong earned his JD from Temple University Law School where he was the recipient of the Albert H. Friedman Prize for excellence in legal research and writing. He earned his undergraduate degree from St. Joseph's University, magna cum laude, where he was inducted into The Phi Beta Kappa Society.

Lee Epstein

Lee M. Epstein is a civil litigator and trial lawyer. He represents corporate and individual policyholders in recovering insurance in response to an array of hazards (including, asbestos, cyber, environmental, hearing loss, intellectual property, privacy and product liabilities) and catastrophic property and business interruption losses. In that capacity, Lee advises market leaders in the airline, chemical, construction, financial services, food, HVAC&R, packaging, retail and satellite television industries. He is currently litigating insurance coverage disputes throughout the state and federal courts of the United States.

Matthew Goldstein

Matthew Goldstein is a member of Flaster Greenberg’s Insurance Coverage and Litigation Practice Groups, focusing his practice on complex commercial and corporate litigation in both state and federal courts. Mr. Goldstein specializes in securing insurance recoveries for corporate and individual policyholders and representing clients in business disputes and financial litigation.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Goldstein practiced at an insurance coverage law firm in Philadelphia, PA, and prior to that at a large litigation law firm representing clients in class action, derivative, and mergers and acquisitions litigation in state and federal courts nationwide. During his career, Mr. Goldstein has secured financial recoveries for his clients in excess of $100 million in insurance coverage disputes and cases relating to all forms of corporate misconduct, including excessive executive compensation, misuse and waste of corporate assets, unfair related third-party transactions, insider selling, and breaches of fiduciary duty.

Mr. Goldstein earned his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law-Camden, where he served as an associate editor of the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion and earned various academic honors. He received his B.A. from The George Washington University, magna cum laude.

John Koch

John G. Koch, J.D.

John G. Koch is a member of Flaster Greenberg’s Insurance Recovery, Litigation and Environmental Practice Groups, focusing his practice on policyholder-side commercial insurance recovery and environmental law. His practice also includes commercial litigation, alternative dispute resolution, transactions counseling, contract indemnity disputes, supply chain disputes, and product recalls.

On behalf of commercial policyholder clients, Mr. Koch has recovered substantial sums under both liability insurance policies and property insurance policies. Mr. Koch has represented policyholders in matters involving environmental and toxic tort liabilities (CERCLA, asbestos, silica, hearing loss), business interruption and property damage (especially damage from natural disasters), product or construction defects, product recalls, “coverage B” liabilities, D&O, E&O, and bad faith.

Mr. Koch’s environmental practice includes environmental contribution and cost recovery litigation, counseling clients through site remediation, and negotiating with government regulators. It also includes due diligence, risk transfer and negotiations in transactions involving industrial or contaminated property.
