Do You Have a Relationship with Any of These Lawmakers?
July 2, 2019
The NJCPA plays a critical role advocating the views of the profession to members of the NJ Congressional Delegation. One of the most powerful methods we use to do this is through direct contacts made by CPAs who have existing relationships with a lawmaker(s). If you have a relationship with any of the lawmakers listed to the right, we're asking you to join our Keyperson Program.
- Cory Booker
- Josh Gottheimer
- Andy Kim
- Tom Malinowski
- Robert Menendez
- Mikie Sherrill
- Jefferson Van Drew
Being an NJCPA Keyperson is simple. Once a year or less we'll ask you to communicate the Society's position on an issue to the lawmaker you know. You don't need to be an expert on the issue. We provide you with talking points, sample letters, or whatever you'll need to briefly let the lawmaker know how the profession feels about a particular issue. And NJCPA staff is available to answer any questions they may have.
