Help the NJCPA Measure the Attitudes and Behaviors of New Jersey Small Businesses

The NJCPA is partnering with the Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurship and FDU Poll to learn more about the needs and perspectives of New Jersey’s small business owners — and we need your assistance.

  • WHO: The FDU Poll will create a research group of 1,000 small business owners throughout New Jersey. Demographic information for each participant will be collected initially, but responses will remain anonymous.
  • WHAT: Surveys will measure the attitudes and behaviors of small businesses with findings shared with the media, policymakers, the NJCPA and survey participants.
  • WHEN: Each survey participant will be asked to respond to four short (2 to 5 minutes in length) electronic surveys over the course of 12 months, beginning in late summer or early fall 2019.

We are asking you to reach out to as many of your small business clients as you feel comfortable, asking for their participation in this important research. Your firm or company is also welcome to participate in the survey. For purposes of this study, small business is defined as 50 or fewer employees.

Your willingness to pass this along to your small business clients is greatly appreciated. If you have any questions about the survey or our partnership with the FDU Poll, let us know
