Meet Your Chapter President
  • Kenneth Shapiro
    Kenneth B. Shapiro, CPA, PFS, CFP®, sole practitioner of Shapiro Financial Security Group in Hazlet, joined the NJCPA in 1982. He previously served as vice president, secretary, treasurer and director for the Monmouth/Ocean Chapter. He also serves other NJCPA committees and interest groups including Chapter Operations, Investment, Federal Taxation, State Taxation, and Business Valuation Forensic Litigation Services. Shapiro was included in the NJCPA’s “50 Over 50” list for his continuing impact on the accounting profession in the Garden State. He is an adjunct professor at Monmouth University and Fairleigh Dickinson University. Shapiro received a B.S. in accounting from Rider University and an M.B.A. in finance from Rutgers University. He resides in Toms River with his wife, Sandi, and three children, Reba, Russell and Devon. He enjoys boating and fishing.
