  • Deborah Schaub, CPA, CTC, is one of just over 700 tax professionals who has completed the American Institute for Certified Tax Planners (AICTP) training academy leading to the Certified Tax Coach designation. The AICTP program focuses on court-tested, IRS-approved strategies for minimizing Alternative Minimum Tax, maximizing deductions from real estate and passive activities, maximizing retirement savings and similarly powerful strategies.To earn the designation Deborah Schaub completed an intense, five-day online training program.
  • Executives and employees from Grassi volunteered for the firm's Small Business Support Saturday event on May 2, 2020. Grassi advisors specializing in emergency loans, tax, business consulting, HR, IT and marketing made themselves available in virtual meeting rooms, over the phone and by email to answer questions and concerns from the business and nonprofit communities. During the 8-hour event, Grassi advisors spoke with more than 350 small business owners and nonprofit leaders.
  • Barbara Boyle, CPA, has been named a partner at Murphy, Miller & Baglieri LLP after 14 years with the firm. She concentrates her practice on taxation and business advisory services, focusing on business and individual taxation with a specialty in international taxation. Murphy Miller & Baglieri focuses on middle-market companies.
  • Prager Metis has announces its combination with William J. Keephart CPA, PA, a firm located in Lawrenceville, NJ. The William J. Keephart team will continue operating virtually at this time and will eventually become part of the Prager Metis Cranbury office. The team at William J. Keephart, CPA, PA specializes in serving small to midsize businesses and individuals.
  • Theodore Byer, CPA, of Smolin Lupin & Co., P.A., was recently selected as Top CPA of the Decade by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP). Inclusion with the IAOTP is an honor in itself, only one CPA is selected for this distinction. Mr. Byer is being recognized for this distinction for having over three decades of professional experience as a seasoned and trusted expert CPA.

  • Nisivoccia is pleased to announce that, effective July 2020, Bud Jones, CPA, RMA, PSA, has been named managing partner of the firm, succeeding Timothy Mehaffey, CPA. Bud becomes the fourth managing partner of Nisivoccia as the firm celebrates its 50-year anniversary.
