Taxpayer Service Representative
NJ Division of Taxation - Education & Outreach
Jacob Foy supervises the New Jersey Division of Taxation’s Education & Outreach Unit. Jacob started with the Division sixteen years ago in the Customer Service Center and has worked for the Problem Resolution Unit and the Taxpayer Service Walk-In Center. He was most recently a Case Advocate with the Division’s Office of the Taxpayer Advocate (OTA) where he spent three years providing assistance to resolve ongoing taxpayer problems and disputed state tax issues.
His experience with Sales Tax, Employer Responsibilities, Income Tax and Property Tax Relief Programs has placed him in leadership of the Education & Outreach Unit, where he focuses on educating Division staff and the public to better understand New Jersey tax responsibilities.
Glenn A. Henkel, CPA, J.D., LL.M.

Glenn A. Henkel, CPA, J.D., LL.M., is a shareholder of Kulzer & DiPadova, PA., which limits its practice to tax, business and estate matters. His particular areas of expertise include complex estate planning; tax-exempt organizations; and probate, trust and estate law. Mr. Henkel is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court and is a member of the Bars of the State of New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In addition to being an attorney, Mr. Henkel is a certified public accountant. He is the author of publications for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
In 2009, Mr. Henkel was awarded the Alfred C. Clapp Award for Excellence in Continuing Legal Education from the NJICLE. He is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel; past chair of the Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section; and an officer of the Taxation Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the New Jersey Bar Association and the Camden County Bar Association. Mr. Henkel was a trustee and is currently co-chair of the Probate and Trust Committee of the Camden County Bar Association. He is a past president of the Trust Counselors Network and of the Estate and Financial Planning Council of Southern New Jersey, Inc. Mr. Henkel is also a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a past president of the Southwest Jersey Chapter of the NJSCPA.
Mr. Henkel was designated as an accredited estate planner by the National Association of Estate Planning Councils. Mr. Henkel has been named a Super Lawyer, one of the 100 Top Super Lawyers in New Jersey and was named to Best Lawyers in America. Mr. Henkel was an assistant professor of tax law at Rutgers University School of Law. He was a member of the Rutgers Law Journal, has published articles in national tax journals and has lectured extensively to groups of lawyers, accountants and estate planners. He earned his J.D. at Rutgers University School of Law and his LL.M. in taxation at New York University.
Patrick J. McCormick, J.D., LL.M.
Patrick J. McCormick is an associate with the firm, Kulzer & DiPadova, P.A. He earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2008, and his LL.M. from the New York University School of Law in 2009. He earned his undergraduate degree from Ridter University. Mr. McCormick is licensed to practice in the States of New Jersey, Florida, and Georgia, and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the American Bar Association.
Mr. McCormick has published articles and assisted in presentations on assorted areas of tax and estate planning law, including offshore assets, cancellation of indebtedness income, captive insurance, and worker classification for federal tax purposes.

Daniel L. Mellor, J.D., LL.M., is an associate with Kulzer DiPadova, P.A., located in Haddonfield, New Jersey.
Mr. Mellor has been published in Tax Notes on the topic of the individual mandate provision of the Affordable Care Act. He is a member of the bars of the State of New Jersey, the State of New York and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association, as well as the Camden and Mercer County Bar Associations.
Mr. Mellor earned his J.D. at the George Mason University School of Law, and his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in taxation from the Temple University Beasley School of Law.

Kristin L. Schmid, Esq.
Kulzer & DiPadova, P.A.
Ms. Schmid earned her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law specializing in Corporate Law, and earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Pennsylvania where she majored in Political Science and Economics. Ms. Schmid is currently pursuing her Masters of Law (LL.M.) in Taxation from New York University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Schmid was a Senior Tax Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where she specialized in Mergers and Acquisitions. While at PwC, Ms. Schmid handled the federal tax implications of complex merger and acquisition transactions involving Fortune 500 corporations. Her experience includes spin-offs, carve outs, liquidations, taxable transactions, and non-recognition transaction
