His expertise and understanding of cyber security concepts and the application of compliance requirements has been honed through his leadership of many security and compliance initiatives, including Payment Card Industry (PCI) readiness projects, Title Industry ALTA Best Practices certifications, HIPAA compliance reviews and law firm data governance.

Larry’s professional organizational memberships include Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), InfraGard and Institute of Management Consultancy. He received his Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Temple University.

As an industry veteran who has been tinkering with technology since 1985, Kai has helped secure countless businesses from security threats. He holds numerous certifications under the auspices of Offensive Security, EC-Council, CompTIA, Sektor7 and BreakDev. In addition, he's presented for the Philadelphia Bar Association, Philadelphia Bar Institute, the New Jersey chapter of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, New Jersey Association of Public Accountants, NJHIMMS, and many more. Kai is currently a cybersecurity columnist for the New Jersey Law Journal. He previously has written content for New Jersey Business Magazine, American Land Title Association, and Bankrate.com. Kai has also been accepted as an expert witness for cybersecurity by the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas in Lancaster County, PA.

He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Privacy Professional for Europe and the United States, Certified Information Privacy Manager, and has been named a Fellow in Information Privacy by the International Association of Privacy Professionals.

He has over 25 years’ experience delivering, implementing and managing private, public and hybrid cloud-based information technologies, leading InfoSec teams and efforts from both the vendor and company sides using the ISO, NIST and CSA CCM frameworks to address needs for SOC2, HIPAA, SOX, PCI/DSS and NY DFS 500. Chris earned a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MA from the Wharton School.
