Our Firm Ambassador Program provides young and dynamic accounting professionals with opportunities to foster connections between their accounting firms, professional networks and the NJCPA. We seek participation from individuals who are motivated to lead and build relationships. One ambassador per firm or firm location is needed.

Responsibilities

  • Promote NJCPA membership to new hires and peers.
  • Encourage participation in NJCPA member groups and events.
  • Solicit volunteers for community-based projects such as the annual food drive and other society activities.
  • Disseminate information about the CPA Exam and licensure requirements.
  • Facilitate meetings with new hires/interns to discuss the CPA Exam, benefits of NJCPA membership (presentation provided), and professional issues.
  • Identify possible mentors for recipients of high school and college scholarships.
  • Participate in focus groups or surveys.
  • Blog about firm-related issues or other topics.

Requirements

  • Must be an NJCPA member
  • Fulfill a two-year term.
  • Attend NJCPA events (virtual or in-person) and bring firm colleagues with you to the events.
  • Engage in quarterly check-in calls with the firm ambassador group.
