Kenneth R. Cohen is a member of the law firm of Davidson, Sochor, Ragsdale & Cohen, LLC. His practice includes business law, estate planning and administration, asset protection and resolving federal and state tax controversies and tax collection matters.
Mr. Cohen also practices in federal and state courts where he has successfully litigated sales tax, income tax and estate tax matters. Mr. Cohen has been appointed by the Court on numerous occasions to serve as legal representative in guardianship matters. He is a member of the New Jersey Bar, the Federal Bar and is authorized to practice before the United States Tax Court. He is listed in “Who’s Who of American Attorneys” and is recognized as a “Best Tax Lawyer” by US News and World Report.
Mr. Cohen also serves as an adjunct professor in the Fairleigh Dickinson University Graduate School tax program.

He was a member of the Special Task Force on Partnership Taxation to ensure that the New Jersey partnership statute was in compliance with Internal Revenue Regulations.
Mr. Cohen has lectured extensively to accountants and to attorneys regarding business and income tax issues. He serves as chairman of the seminar sponsored by the NJ Institute of Continuing Legal Education on Asset Protection. Mr. Cohen has taught Estate Taxation for the Morris Community Adult School. He served as a panelist for numerous tax seminars sponsored by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education, the National Business Institute and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Cohen graduated from Rutgers College with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He received his law degree from Rutgers Law School and has a masters degree in taxation from New York University Law School.
