Stuart M. Brown, Esq. is a founding partner in Brown Moskowitz & Kallen, P.C. located in Summit, New Jersey. Mr. Brown oversees the Firm’s corporate and commercial practice. He provides comprehensive business counseling, with a particular emphasis on the needs of privately owned businesses. Mr. Brown has extensive experience “quarterbacking” all aspects of financing, debt, acquisition, disposition and merger transactions, as well as corporate restructurings. In addition, he assists entrepreneurs and businesses in all phases of growth, including formation, organization, capitalization, financing, partnership or shareholder issues and ongoing business and commercial matters. Mr. Brown was formerly the Vice President and General Counsel of a publicly traded specialty contractor. In that role, Mr. Brown travelled extensively, both domestically and internationally, and as a result he has developed significant relationships with professional service providers worldwide. Prior to moving in-house in 1995, Mr. Brown practiced in the corporate department at one of New Jersey’s premier law firms. Mr. Brown received his law degree, with honors, in 1987 from Boston University School of Law and his undergraduate degree, with honors, in 1984 from the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to maintaining an active law practice, Mr. Brown often lectures on law related topics to business owners and executives as well as college and graduate students.
