Joe Zapf, CPA, is a senior auditor at Sobel & Co., targeting on the firm’s financial services and employee benefits practice groups. Joe began his professional career as an intern at Sobel & Co., gaining experience in both tax and auditing. But he quickly realized a passion to serve clients in the financial services industry. As a result, this niche is where Joe is primarily engaged, working with broker-dealers and various other financial services clients. Joe has served on the Data Analytics team which focuses on expanding the use of technology in the accounting and auditing profession since he began with Sobel & Co. and he has now assumed responsibility as a lead member, offering insights and guiding solutions and suggestions.

Joe is Certified Public Accountant licensed in New Jersey and a Member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He has a B.S. in accounting from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
