A new initiative is underway for the profession: the CPA Trust campaign. This national effort is designed to raise awareness of the value CPAs deliver every day and to strengthen how the profession is understood across business, communities and the broader public. The campaign highlights what sets CPAs apart: deep expertise, high standards, and a foundation of trust built through licensing, ethics and oversight.
Developed by the American Institute of CPAs in collaboration with state CPA societies, CPA Trust reflects input from across the profession and a shared commitment to telling a stronger, more unified story.
The campaign is designed to reach audiences at scale through:
A national commercial across business and news programming
Digital and social storytelling featuring real CPA impact
A dedicated website, TrustedCPA.org, showcasing the profession’s value and reach
Together, these efforts reinforce a simple but powerful idea: CPAs are trusted partners for what matters most.
This campaign is not just about visibility — it’s about participation and local amplification. By sharing campaign content on social media, you help strengthen recognition of the profession and expand its impact. Ways to help include reposting social content from AICPA, sharing a link to urge others to the view the commercial at TrustedCPA.org, or posting about what a national ad campaign about CPAs means to you.
