The New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA) welcomed Christopher M. Lovasz, CPA, managing director at Deloitte & Touche LLP, as its president for the 2026/27 term, effective June 1.

The federal government produces audited, accrual-based financial statements in accordance with federal government accounting standards. However, they remain virtually unknown and underutilized in both professional and public discourse.
