NJCPA Whistleblower Policy

The New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and Affiliates (“NJCPA”) expect officers, trustees, other volunteer leaders and employees to observe high standards of business and personal ethics in the conduct of their duties and responsibilities. Employees and representatives of the organization and affiliated organizations must practice honesty and integrity in fulfilling their responsibilities and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Each trustee, volunteer leader and employee of the NJCPA has an obligation to report in accordance with the Whistleblower Policy 

  1. questionable or improper accounting or auditing matters, and
  2. violations and suspected violations of the policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook, Standards of Conduct for NJCPA Leaders and NJCPA Employee Code of Conduct.

Concerns may also be submitted anonymously to the Hotline Service, which is created solely for this purpose and is managed and staffed by an outside company in order to maintain the anonymity of the source. Contact information is as follows:
