NJCPA Speaker Academy Fall 2025

We've scheduled the second cohort for the NJCPA Speaker Academy.

I am excited to share a unique opportunity for your Firm’s young professionals to engage in our speaker training program, where they will be coached on public speaking, presenting, and instructing others. The NJCPA Speaker Academy will provide hands-on training and mentoring, designed to develop speakers who will ultimately give back to the profession through speakership, CPE instruction, or leadership. Participation can be a stepping stone in your staff’s career advancement, providing the skills and confidence to be an effective thought leader.   

The second cohort of the Speaker Academy will be by invitation only and include emerging leaders from participating firms. Participants will be able to partner with experienced speakers, attend NJCPA events, and observe live programs broadcast from the NJCPA Studio.  Graduates from the first cohort have been presenting NJCPA podcasts, webinars, and live sessions.

Key Details:

    • Cost: Remaining free for NJCPA Members Only
    • Cohort Size: They will be limited to 15-20 participants to ensure personalized attention and impactful learning. 
    • Timing: 11/6, 11/13, 11/20, 12/4. (2 - 5 pm, in person at the Society office in Roseland)

This initiative will benefit the participants and bring added value to your firm by equipping your young professionals with essential communication skills that will serve them well throughout their careers.

Not only will we be practicing live, in-person skills, but you will also have an opportunity to practice speaking virtually. The cohort is small by design, so you can get as much out of this program as possible. We hope we've developed a program to develop speakers who ultimately want to give back to the profession through speakership, instructing CPE, or leadership. After the program, you can shadow current NJCPA speakers as they provide instruction and thought leadership, even when recording a podcast in our studio.
