Joshua Jenson, CPA Joshua Jenson, CPA has over 28 years of public accounting experience in the area of tax, specializing in LLC, partnership, S corporation, and related individual tax matters. He founded his own CPA firm over 24 years ago, where he still serves his clients daily. Joshua has built a national reputation through YouTube where he has over 60,000 subscribers with over 4 million views on his channel. He has become known to many as JJ the CPA. JJ has traveled to over 50 cities in the last two years, presenting tax courses to fellow CPAs covering the latest tax laws and strategies on behalf of Surgent. Joshua has authored two books, in one of which he breaks down the personality of the CPA and shares the foundation of the CPA industry with the goal of helping other professionals gain referrals from CPAs. JJ is also a licensed insurance professional specializing in life insurance (both permanent and term) as well as disability income insurance. He has own insurance practice, Jenson Insurance. Joshua Jenson, CPA is a licensed CPA in Oklahoma and Texas, and a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Oklahoma Society of CPAs. He has his insurance license in Oklahoma. JJ served as the past chairperson of the OSCPA Educational Foundation and was named CPA of the year by his CPA peers. Joshua is a 1993 graduate of Abilene Christian University where he earned his accounting degree.
