Tax Extenders and Obamacare Provisions
George Williams, CPA, J.D., LL.M. - Ross, Rosenthal & Company, LLP

On December 20, 2019 President Trump signed into law two appropriations bills that extended government funding while also dealing with several of the Tax Extenders provisions and repealing some Obamacare taxes. The bill reinstates many of the previously expired tax incentives. Consequently, the changes are effective for the 2019 tax year through the 2020 tax year. In addition, 2018 returns may be amended to take advantages of these changes. Hear about the specific changes that will affect you and your clients.
