Share Your Experience on How Life Impacts Careers

The New Jersey Society of CPAs is supporting a national study conducted by academic researchers on how life impacts careers in accounting, finance and related professions.

Your experience can help researchers understand how responsibilities and events outside work affect careers and what support professionals need from employers. A national survey welcomes perspectives from people with and without caregiving responsibilities or significant personal events. 

The survey is open to anyone who works, or has worked, in accounting, finance or a related profession. It takes 25–35 minutes and closes Dec. 18, 2026.

The survey is anonymous. No identifying information is collected. Participation is voluntary. Questions adapt to your circumstances. You may skip any question and stop at any time. Some questions cover sensitive topics including bereavement, illness and personal difficulty.
