Brittany A. Bonetti, based in Atlantic City, is a member of Cooper Levenson's Healthcare, Cyber Law, and Cannabis Law Practice Groups.

Brittany assists hospitals and health systems, medical staffs, individual physicians and physician groups in business and regulatory legal matters of all types, including HIPAA and HITECH compliance. Her background includes preparation and negotiation of a variety of health related agreements including business associate, physician/mid-level employment and shareholders agreements; advice regarding Stark, Fraud and Abuse, Anti-Kickback and state regulatory concerns related to specific arrangements; and preparation of Medical Staff Bylaws . In the cyber law sector, Brittany provides counsel on privacy and security concerns.

Before joining Cooper Levenson, Brittany was an associate with Capehart Scatchard, where she focused her practice on healthcare law. Brittany served as a law clerk to the Honorable Eugene J. McCaffrey, Jr., P.J.Cv., in the Superior Court of New Jersey in Woodbury, N.J. During law school, Brittany held legal internships with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, the Medical Society of New Jersey, and Cooper University Hospital.

Brittany graduated from George Washington University, Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in 2010. She received her Master’s degree in Public Health from the Rutgers School of Public Health with a concentration in Health Systems and Policy. She was awarded the ABA-BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Health Law when she graduated from the Rutgers School of Law, Camden with a Juris Doctor. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Arthur Korth, Esq. has been an associate with Cooper Levenson since 1988. Jill T. Ojserkis, Esq. is a partner in the Atlantic City office of Cooper Levenson. As the Chair of the Healthcare Law Practice Group, she maintains a general healthcare practice on behalf of institutional clients such as hospitals, health systems, medical staffs and ancillary providers. She also represents individual licensed providers and practice groups.

Ms. Ojserkis's client list includes hospitals, health care systems, Medical Staffs, physicians and physician groups, ambulatory surgery facilities, diagnostic imaging centers and ambulatory care facilities. She guides clients through the rapidly-changing landscape of healthcare with the necessary elements of vigilant oversight and open lines of client communication. Thomas W. Raftery III is the founder and the Managing Partner of The Falcon Consulting Group, International, LLC. Mr. Raftery brings a unique blend of private and public sector experiences to Falcon. Mr. Raftery has a B.A. in Economics from Dickinson College and a M.B.A from Drexel University with a concentration in Accounting. Mr. Raftery is an financial professional and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).

Mr. Raftery is an executive level professional with expertise and success in numerous cross-functional areas, including project management, budget development and implementation, white collar investigations, policy development and implementation, internal and external audits and corporate ethics and compliance. Mr. Raftery is experienced, in the public and private sectors, in the establishment of procedures and policies to deter fraud, waste, corruption, and abuse. He is a professional with domestic and international experience in financial and performance audits, interview and investigative techniques, investigations, evidence collection and analysis, trial testimony, and report preparation.

Mr. Raftery recently served as the first appointed Inspector General for the Delaware River Port Authority and the Port Authority Transit Corp (“Authority”). As Inspector General, he was the independent watchdog for this bi-state Authority operating four bridges, a 164 member police department, a river ferry, a high speed transit line, and real estate holdings. With reporting responsibility to the Chairman and Vice Chairman, Audit Committee, and Chairman and Vice Chairman, Board of Commissioners, Mr. Raftery has significant board and audit committee experience. He interfaced with the Audit Committee, the Board of Commissioners, Governors’ offices, as well as law enforcement and regulatory agencies. As the Authority’s first Inspector General, Mr. Raftery oversaw the development of the Office of the Inspector General from its initiation. Mr. Raftery managed a department charged with conducting investigations of violations of law and Authority policies, the execution and coordination of internal and external audits, and operation of the Whistleblower hotline. He established procedures and policies to deter fraud, waste, abuse, and corruption. Mr. Raftery also issued reports of findings and made recommendations to Audit Committee, Board of Commissioners, management and the public for policy changes and operational improvements. He was responsible for ensuring compliance with reforms, policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws and regulations. He developed and enforced the Ethics Policy for Authority and was responsible for evaluating and managing risk to Authority.

Mr. Raftery has 23 years of federal law enforcement experience. Mr. Raftery served as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) from 1988 through June, 2010. Mr. Raftery also served as a Special Agent with the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) from 2010 to 2011 and was deployed in Afghanistan. Mr. Raftery is an expert in white collar crime matters including public corruption, money laundering, Anti-Trust, fraud, as well as terrorism. Mr. Raftery has significant experience in the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). He has spoken on public corruption matters to various law enforcement agencies. He is also an expert in the recruitment, development, operation, and tasking of Human Intelligence (HUMINT) resources. Mr. Raftery developed HUMINT training for law enforcement personnel on domestic and international levels. Mr. Raftery is experienced with security protocols and assessments in high threat environments.

Michael L. Salad, Esq., LL.M. is a partner in the firm. He concentrates his practice on business transactions, tax matters, probate administration and estate and business planning. Michael holds an LL.M. in Estate Planning and Elder Law.

Michael began his career at Cooper Levenson as a summer clerk in 2009 and 2010. He worked primarily within the tax law arena, concentrating on will drafting and estate and asset protection planning as well as preparing and structuring shareholder agreements, limited liability company operating agreements and partnership agreements. In addition, Michael handles general corporate matters as well as mergers and acquisitions involving corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies. Michael regularly travels between Florida and New Jersey and assists clients from the Northeast who are seeking to change their residency.

Joining Cooper Levenson in 1984, he now serves as President of the firm, and Chairman of the Tax and Business practice group. He has been a partner since 1988. Previously, Jarad worked with a Millville, N.J. firm, where he created a new practice group specializing in trusts and estates, asset protection, tax controversy, special needs planning and elder law. Among his major accomplishments was gaining guardianship for a client with approximately $2.2 million in dispute. He also resolved tax compliance issues to maintain a foundation’s 501 (c)(3) status, and advised clients on comprehensive estate and asset protection plans limiting state, local and federal tax liability.
