Walter J. Brasch, CPA, CGMA, Partner & Chief Business Development Officer at O’Connor Davies, LLP, Cranford, joined the New Jersey Society of CPAs in 1977. He has served on the NJCPA Board of Trustees as a trustee, treasurer and secretary. He is a member of the NJCPA Finance, Strategic Planning, and Retirement Savings Plan committees and is an Education Foundation trustee. He was chair of the NJ-CPA-PAC. He has also served as president, vice president, secretary and director of the Monmouth/Ocean Chapter. Mr. Brasch is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Health Care Financial Management Association, a board member of the New Jersey State Chamber of Commerce and an associate member of the NJ Bankers Association. In his community, Mr. Brasch served as board chair of the Raritan Bay Medical Center, alumni association president of Christian Brothers Academy (CBA), and board member of the American Cancer Society and the Boy Scouts of America, Monmouth Council. He is a recipient of the CBA Alumnus of the Year Award and currently serves on the board of CBA. He also serves as an associate member of the Audit Committee of Monmouth University and a fundraising committee member for the Raritan Bay Health Care Foundation. Mr. Brasch earned his B.B.A. in accounting from St. Bonaventure University. He and his wife, Ann, reside in Little Silver and have a son, a daughter and three grandchildren.

Prior to establishing Richard Shippee Communications, Shippee had a four-decade career in marketing and communications for organizations and professional services firms. During the first boom he directed west coast marketing operations for management consultancy, A.T. Kearney. He later joined Deloitte in New York to manage public relations and media relations throughout the firm’s Boston-Philadelphia corridor. In 2008 Shippee became Director of Communications for EisnerAmper LLP, an Accounting Today Top 20 firm. In addition to his communications work there, he also directed marketing for the firm’s Personal Wealth Advisory practice, and was a member of its merger integration team.

Richard Shippee directs the Marketing and Communications consulting activities at Whitman Business Advisors. He provides Marketing Needs Assessment, Marketing Program Development and Pre- and Post-Merger Marketing Integration services to the leaders of accounting firms, and other professional services companies.

David has been an entrepreneur and a guide for entrepreneurs throughout his adult life. After graduation from the University of Arizona, David started A Bridgewater Copy and Print. Remaining within the printing industry for the next 17 years, David next started In A Bind, and merged his operation with Action Fast Print. Action Fast Print became the second largest quick printer in New Jersey for 2002 -2004, according to NJBIZ.
