| Susan Dyer is Membership Development Manager for New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA). She manages the recruitment and retention of members in different stages of the CPA profession from college students majoring in accounting to CPA candidates to licensed CPAs.
On the college front, Susan works with educators and manages campus outreach including presentations and the ambassador program. She oversees membership renewal efforts and works with CPA candidates to help guide them towards attaining the CPA designation. Susan partners with firm managing partners, HR, and firm administrators by promoting membership benefits and ensuring members are taking full advantage of everything NJCPA membership has to offer and NJCPA benefits meet member and firm needs.
Susan has a marketing background and has worked for both marketing agencies and professional associations. She has eight years of marketing experience managing government and nonprofit clients and accounts, as well as various associations in different industries.
Susan has a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Saint Michael's College and is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the American Marketing Association (AMA).
During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, attending Bruce Springsteen concerts (12 and counting), reading historical fiction, and is an avid flower enthusiast. One of her volunteer activities includes participating in the St. Francis Fall Festival benefiting the St. Francis Health Resort, a residential community for seniors founded in 1895. |  |
