Sean Byrnes is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Kearny Financial Corp. and Kearny Bank. Prior to his appointment as Chief Financial Officer, he served as Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer, holding a series of leadership roles of increasing responsibility within the organization.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Byrnes has built extensive experience in banking and financial services, with expertise spanning financial management, accounting, capital planning, regulatory reporting, investor relations, and strategic planning. Before joining Kearny Bank, he held senior finance and accounting positions at Amboy Bank, Cantor Commercial Real Estate, and Prudential Financial.
Mr. Byrnes earned a Master of Business Administration from Pace University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Ithaca College. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) registered in the State of New Jersey and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. |  |
