A Certified Public Accountant, his expertise is in Governmental and Not-For-Profit Accounting and Auditing and Single Audits performed under Uniform Guidance.
Steven plans and overseas financial statement audits for a variety of Governmental and Not-For-Profit Organizations including local governments, public benefit corporations, statutory trusts, various other Component Unit types of Local and State Governments and social service organizations. He also has extensive experience in audits performed pursuant to Uniform Guidance (Federal Single Audits), NYS Consolidated Fiscal Reports (CFRs), Agreed-Upon Procedures, Employee Benefit Plans as well as NYC Indirect Cost Reporting.
Among client service, Steven also dedicates time to CBIZ’s national Learning and Development Governmental and single audit programs and has spoken on numerous webinars including speaking events for the New York State Society of CPAs.Steven is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), and serves on both the Not-for-Profit Organizations Committee and Governmental Accounting and Auditing Committee.
