High School Seniors

The NJCPA Scholarship Fund awards $1,500 scholarships to college-bound New Jersey high school seniors intending to major in accounting or obtain a concentration in accounting which includes not less than 24 accounting credits. Scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, standardized test scores, essay and personal interview.

Scholarships Funded by the Deloitte Foundation

Through the generosity of the Deloitte Foundation, the NJCPA Scholarship Fund is awarding three types of one-year scholarships for select students from under-resourced or historically underrepresented communities:

  • College-bound New Jersey high school seniors who intend to major in accounting or obtain a concentration in accounting at a four- or two-year institution. The awards are $1,500 each. Learn more
  • College sophomores or second-year students enrolled in an accounting program or have a concentration in accounting at a New Jersey college. Awards are $2,000 each. Learn more
  • College juniors majoring in accounting who are entering their senior year at a New Jersey college/university and seniors who are enrolling in an accounting-related graduate program in New Jersey. Awards are $6,500 each. Learn more

College Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors

The NJCPA Scholarship Fund awards $2,000 scholarships to New Jersey college sophomores or second-year students at New Jersey community colleges attending a four-year college in the fall. The Fund also awards $6,500 scholarships to New Jersey college juniors majoring in accounting who are entering their senior year and seniors who are entering an accounting-related graduate program. Scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, essay and personal interview.

NABA-NJ Chapter and AICPA Minority Awards

The Minority Scholarship Programs are supported by the NJCPA in conjunction with the Northern New Jersey Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. These programs are open to college students at the sophomore, junior and senior levels.
