For over 20 years, Mike has represented and counseled both Fortune 500 companies and small businesses on employment law related matters. Mike has extensive experience counseling clients on Human Resources and other employment law matters, ranging from hiring through firing. Mike’s extensive employment law experience includes counseling clients on leave laws, accommodation issues, sexual and other harassment and discrimination issues, wage and hour compliance, reductions in force, and terminations as well as drafting employee handbooks and policies, confidentiality and restrictive covenant agreements, employment and executive compensation agreements.

Although Mike focuses on assisting his clients with compliance in order to avoid litigation, Mike has extensive experience litigating employment and other matters in state and federal courts should the need for litigation arise. His litigation experience includes defending wrongful termination, wage and hour, sexual harassment, whistleblower, and breach of contract lawsuits.

After spending the majority of his professional career at a large law firm, Mike founded Morea Law in 2017 in order to provide employment law counseling to owners of small and medium sized businesses, who are typically underserved in the legal market.
